Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Mid March I got a DUI. Went to a friend's house, parked the car (wasn't driving), and went inside the house. A few minutes later, the neighbor was saying that hit her car (not true) and called the police. I went inside to get my friend and he agreed that I didn't hit it. Next thing you know there were a couple of cop cars on the street. They talked with the neighbor and she told them I "almost" hit her car. I waited in the front yard until they came over to talk to me. They took my information and gave me the eye test. He asked questions and told me that he was talking me down (no rights read). Went to booking, took a breath test and the officer then told me that he was putting under arrest (no rights read). They took mug shots and finger prints and I stayed there for about ten hours. They release me at four in the morning with my license and traffic ticket. That's all they gave me. No other paperwork. Called the DMW and they told me if they gave me my license back, then I didn't have to go in for those first ten days and just to worry about court. Called the police department and went down there to get a copy of my report, no one called or gave me the information I needed. I have a court date coming up and I am so clueless of what's going on. What should I do?

Would need to know where this happened to be able to answer it more fully; but regardless of that information, the case appears to be a defensible one so researching local attorneys who specialize in DUI would be advisable and almost all of us offer free consultations.
