Legal Question in Family Law in California

My 64 year friend died and he had adopted his 4 grandchildren. he left a will which nominated me for guardianship. I went to probate court and they gave me temporary guardianshp, but an aunt that wasnt mentioned in the guardianship papers was trying to get custody of the kids. She called social services and they removed the kids, but claimed it was for legal matters, and that I did nothing wrong, what rights do I have?

You are going to need to go through the Probate Court and show that the adoptive parent, the biological grandfather, named you as the guardian for the children. Do you know why the court only gave you temporary instead of permenant guardinaship? Do you know what the aunt claimed that got Social Services to take the children away?

I'll need some more information to properly assess your rights and calculate your best next move.
