Legal Question in Family Law in California

Abstract of Support Judgment

How do I get a abstract of support judgment. Do I just file it with the clerk or do I have to go through the judge? There is a order for support that has not been paid in almost 2 years. I have figured the amount owed with and without 10% interest. Do I just fill out the abstract including interest and file it with the clerk. Are there more forms that need to be filled out with the abstract? Please help.

Re: Abstract of Support Judgment

You should find a local self help center in the court house to get information on how to fill out an abstract of support. Additionally there are numerous books in your local library to assist you.

Always consult with a lawyer in your area prior to making legal decisions. Good luck!
