Legal Question in Family Law in California

Attorney Anthony Roach: Rule 5.125 of the California Rules of Court provides for the procedure. You can read the rule at the link here: http://www.courts.ca.gov/cms/rules/index.cfm?title=five&linkid=rule5_125

How do I get a "minute order" or "official Transcript" and how much will it cost me? I want to be prepared in case. (She referenced the Order as of 17 Jul 2013 and I just want to make sure she states that payment is through Jan 2016 as stated and not just "until paid" as she states; at last year's hearing and this year's hearing she tried to re-visit that Respondent only owed me $25,000.00 not the $58,000.00 and the Judge shot her down both times.

We were mainly back in Court because R's Attorney wrote the order too vague than what we agreed on. This time I want it Precise and not Vague.

The official transcript will be what the court reporter took down during the hearing. You will have to either call the court number for the court reporter, or visit the department in person and tell the court reporter you would like to purchase a copy of the transcript. They can cost a couple of hundred dollars. If there was no court reporter present during the hearing, then there would be no transcript.

You can get the minute order from the court clerk in the main clerk's office for your court where the case is pending. Copies are usually 50 cents a page, and I do not expect your minute order to be that many pages.
