Legal Question in Family Law in California

Cash taken out before filing

I took out around 30K (around 3% of total assets) couple of months before filing for divorce and gave some money to my older parents and some kept in cash. How is it being view by judge and what should I do to deflect the attack of my soon to be Ex?

The worst case is that in the property distribution the judge would charge you with 30k. If you are dividing 1 million in assets you should have an attorney or 30K may be the least of your problems. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
