Legal Question in Family Law in California

I was caught cheating on my husband recently. He has forced me to leave my home and i do not feel this is legal since i have 2 minor children. We have been married for 24 years, and he cheated on me 10 years ago, but i stayed with him. My relationship is over with the other man, and lasted for about 8 months. I do not have a job, any credit cards, or any form of income as i have been a stay at home mother for the past 22 years. We have not filed for divorce yet, and am wondering what my legal rights are as far as staying in my home and not being forced to live in my car.

He has no right to force you out of the family home without a court order, and he has a legal obligation to provide you basic support. You need to see a lawyer right away. As a stay at home mom with minor children, you have a fairly good chance of having him ordered out, but you are going to have to file for divorce and seek an order. See a lawyer right away.
