Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a child support order that was entered in May 2012. My ex husbands lawyer immediately challenged the order. It took our Family court judge several weeks to file her answer. The Judge revised her child support calculation and ordered child support on July 16 2012. Does the May 2012 stand ? Or the July 2012 . My ex husband invoiced me out of nowhere that I owe 3 months backwards.

An attorney would have to review all of the relevant orders to determine whether one was a new order that superseded the older order, or an amended order retroactive to the date of the original order.
