Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a court order that my child will spend Father's Day with him but father refuse to have her on that day, he has other plans. Can he do that? Now I have to cancel my plans.

It's particularly sad when a parent doesn't wish to exercise visitation on a special day with their child.

You cannot force father to spend time with the child on Father's Day. If there's a persistent neglect of his visitation time, you may wish to reevaluate getting a new court order for both child visitation and support.
