Legal Question in Family Law in California

Hello my name is David. I have some questions that I hope you can answer. I was married for 2 months about 17 years ago after getting drunk in vegas. It was a marriage that ended very badly so I wanted to forget about her so I never thought about the marriage until now. Suddenly because I'm getting married, I need to get a divorce finalization paper but I don't even remember ex wife's name from 17 years ago. How can I get a divorce finalization paper if I don't have any information about the ex wife. please tell me how I can get the divorce paper. Thank you very much.

Contact the court clerks office where the divorce action was filed. The clerk should be able to find the case under your name as well as under your ex-wife.
