Legal Question in Family Law in California

Is there a way to defend against reunification in Alameda County Family Court? It feels as if it is being forced upon my child and I by the presiding Judge, with no care to review the facts of abandonment by the other parent. It also feels like the Attorney, I currently have, is just going along with the program.

It is presumed that you are being represented by an experienced family law attorney that can best give you the answers on how reunification works and the courts legal objectives on the parenting arrangement that you described.

Your best solution would be to meet with your attorney and to get a full understanding of how to proceed.

If you object to the reunification, there are options including proceeding to trial. If you intend to go to trial, it would be in your best interests to have an expert supporting your contention that reunification is harmful to your child.
