Legal Question in Family Law in California

From my divorce, I was awarded a Retirement Quarto from my ex-husband's retirement. I have not received anything yet.

The divorce was in 1987. My ex-husband is 63 and is no longer working for the company that he will be getting his retirement from. I don't know if he is collecting it yet? All i know is that he lives in Washington.

You need to take a careful look at your court order and make a determination as to who holds the retirement plan. You should sent a copy of the QUADRO order to the retirement administrator so you can acquire your share of the proceeds. If it's not clear as to whether or not the QUADRO was properly completed, you should immediately meet with an experienced family law attorney to assess the situation.
