I am married with 4 kids 1 of them is mine 2 of them were hers before the me the other one we are trying to adopt. If I leave am I responsible for paying half of the rent. I also want primary custody of the younger kids the one that is mine and the one we are trying to adopt, she goes to work at 4am how likely will i be successful in doing that. We can have joint I just want primary

You have a factualy issue to be sorted out, it's not so much legal rules that make the custody clear. If you are both interested in being parents, there will be joint legal custody. If your schedule and availability is more favorable than hers, that gives you the advantage in getting primary custody. In terms of rent, whose on the lease? Your divorce doesn't change the lease agreement or the landlord's rights, so if you want out, you remain obligated under the terms of the terms of the lease. If you are month-to-month, you need to give 30-days notice to the landlord. As between you and your wife, you have child and spousal support issues.
