Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex-wife has made a claim to my pension 5 years after I started collecting my pension. She never accepted a cash buy out at the time of divorce. He attorney now says that I have to repay 5 years of penion payments that she missed out of. Is this true? The pension and Social Security is my total income, I don't have any money to pay her. Can she garnish my pension or social security to collect this?

This is a complicated question the demands a review by an experienced family law attorney in an office consultation. You should meet with an attorney and have them review your court order before making any determination on whether or not you have arrears that you must pay to your ex-wife.
