Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband and I are divorcing after 17 years. The only thing that still in both names is a 2009 Harley Davidson. He tried to get refinanced in just his name but was unable. He said he is filing for divorce and on the paper to say that he will be totally resposible for the bike and I have nothing to worry about..Can he do that? Would I still be responsible?

If the divorce judgement gives him the bike and the debt to pay, if he didn't pay, the finance company could still come after you, but then he would owe you whatever you had to pay.
