Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have been with my husband for 32 years., ((legally 25 years)) I want to divorced him., what are the steps (paperwork) I must do?

He's NOT living with me., our kids are grown up, so we don't have any child support, we don't have any house or cars to fight from.

Please advise.

Thanks!

If you are a resident of the State of California, then I suggest you go to the court's website and download the divorce paperwork. It is relatively simple, especially if you are both in agreement to the terms.

You will also need to prepare a marriage settlement agreement, but again, since you are in agreement, this should not prove too difficult either.

If you would like the assistance of counsel, please feel free to contact me off of the list-serv through my website at PasadenaEstatePlanning.com
