If I am legally separated from my husband, can his ex get anything from me? She wants everything I own because of child support owed by my husband. She already gets my tax return.

She cannot reach your separate property. She can reach at least half the community property, maybe more. You need to get a lawyer.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. I suggest that even if you remain married and together, you need to put your earnings in a bank account in your name for which your husband does not have any withdrawal rights to. That will protect those earnings from his creditors.
