Legal Question in Family Law in California

I live in Arizona with my new husband. My ex husband the father of my two kids live in california after 5 months now he wants to see the kids and for them to stay with him for a weekend. The kids do not want to sleep over and basically dont care much for there dad. In the divorce papers it shows joint custody with me there mom having physical custody..My question is can i deni the kids to him or at least for the kids to sleep over?

The answer to this question is controlled by your court order. If the court order provides that the children are to spend overnights with father, then you should not disobey the court order. The solution would be to return to court and modify the order to properly reflect what the children's needs would be.
