Legal Question in Family Law in California

I live in California and am going through a divorce, we own a home that we have agreed that I am keeping, I am on the title of the house and property but not on the loan. I make the payments but the loan is in her name...what is the best way to proceed?

It is not normal to be on title and not also sign the loan documents. The only way that this happens is the property is deeded to you after the loan was processed in your name only.

I'm not sure what advice you are looking for. The lender will only agree to make you solely responsible for the loan if you refinance, and I don't know whether or not the lender will allow this. It sounds like your wife executed the loan documents because her credit was much better?
