Living together

Do I have any rights? we've been living together for 24 years

Although California does not have a provision for common law marriage, if you lived in another state for a significant period of time and that state has a provision for common law marriage you may have fulfilled the requirements. Even if you only lived in California you may have a claim for breach of contract. Contact an attorney to fully review the facts of your case.
