how can I make my family court documents confidential?

If it is a paternity action, it is already confidential, and access to the court file is limited to the parties, their attorneys, and court staff.

If it is a dissolution proceeding, it is not confidential. You would have to file a motion to seal, but those motions are rarely granted, and would have to show some compelling reason to seal them.
