Legal Question in Family Law in California

I had been married for 5 years in california and ordered to pay spousal support for two and a half years. In waiting for funds from a cashed out 401k to be released to my spouse can I receive a reimbursement for support paid past the time ordered?

You need to file a motion or a request for order (RFO) with the court for restitution for any overages. I don't understand why you didn't terminate spousal support at the right time.
