Legal Question in Family Law in California

Osc

I received a letter from San Diego Superior court stating that my former spouse will appear telephonic. The court date is for April 16th. I have not been served any paperwork about this Order to show cause. How should I handle this?

Re: Osc

I would suggest that you pull the superior court file and determine what type of hearing is scheduled. You should probably get an attorney to assist you since he may be attempting to proceed wihtout notice to you. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

Re: Osc

If you pull the files at the Business Office you will find the OSC and it should contain a "Proof of Service" that shows you were served. Once you obtain the file, you should hire an attorney and obtain a continuance. Feel free to contact me directly.
