Legal Question in Family Law in California

The petitioner did not respond to my request for order. How much of a say will he have when we go before the judge? I have gotten so many vague answers saying most likely they will go off my paperwork or it depends on the judge. How should I prepare myself in this situation. I don't know what to expect. In this case is it every to the petitioners advantage to not respond?

There is really no way to answer your question. You really can't prepare yourself for what judge you get or whether they will go off your paperwork. It is all a matter of chance. Sorry I can't determine what is going to happen.
