Legal Question in Family Law in California

Proof of service

I have not received a summons for my divorce, however, I know that my husband has filed. I filed a response and also paid a fee for the filing. Will I

have a court date if my husband doesn't have a proof of service? So far I can not find anything on the court calendar regarding the marriage dissolution.

Re: Proof of service

Once you filed a response it was not necessary for him to serve you. Nothing will happen until one of you file the appropriate paperwork with the court requesting a hearing. The earliest date on which you can get a judgement dissolving the marriage would be 6 months after you filed the response.
