Legal Question in Family Law in California

I recently went to the hospital for chest problems and my doctor diagnosed me with Costochondritis. Because my boyfriend took me to the hospital she assumed that he was the reason! She said she HAD to call the police so I could choose whether or not to press charges. When the police arrived they forced me to file a report. Now the police are calling me and I don't want this going to a DA and into court! I have not had a say in any of this and I'm pissed I got bullied into giving them ANY information. Please tell me if ignoring the calls from the officer asking for info for the report I did not want filed in the first place will get me into trouble. I do not want them near my house.

Unless your boyfriend has hit you, talking to the police may be beneficial. The cause of Costochondritis can be the result of several actions, heavy lifting, severe coughing, etc. The doctor cannot determine the cause of this condition. If you had a large bruise in the area of the chest bone, that could be the cause.Consider your situation carefully. Abuse should not be tolerated by anyone. Abusers need professional help.
