Legal Question in Family Law in California

My son has a restraining order against his ex-wife and they recently got back together and moved together to a diffeeent county. They got in an argument and she called the police on him and was arrested for violating the restraing order and domestic violence which de is innocent. Does the order apply in a different county?

The courts of California are divided by county only for administrative purposes. They are all part of the Superior Court of the State of California, key word being "State." Their orders apply everywhere in the state, and can be enforced in other states as well in many cases by having them registered with and ordered enforced by the courts of the other state.
