Legal Question in Family Law in California

My soon-to-be-ex dropped the kids from his medical insurance plan. I have them covered under my own plan so they do have coverage. But previously we both covered them. He dropped them without my knowledge. Is it the law that both parents have to provide coverage? I asked him last month if he was still covering the kids and his attorney told me yes. But I found out yesterday from my son's doctor that the insurance was canceled. At my next hearing how do I state that he dropped them without my knowledge?

There is an automatic restraining order that goes into effect whenever a divorce is filed and served that prohibits cancelling any insurance. So he is in contempt of court. File an OSC re: contempt.
