On a TRO how do I know what was approved or denied?second what does pending the hearing mean?

You would have to read the court's order to determine what was approved. That is part of the paperwork that the petitioner is given by the court. If you are not the petitioner, you should have been served that paperwork. Pending the hearing means lasting until the hearing, at which point the court will either change the order or make new orders.
