Legal Question in Family Law in California

His wages were garnished for support while this divorce is completed. He was also given a court order to pay me an additional $2,000 a month. He ignored the court order for the first 3 months - so his debt to me continues to grow as he fails to pay. But now his employer, Prima Medical, simply did not send the check. They declare they mailed it on the 31st. No, they did not. I flew to CA to get another check and they said they would mail it Monday. What can I do now? I am totally out of money, cannot pay my rent due the 1st and need legal advise. Please help. Thank you

Get an attorney. You can file a contempt against the Employer for not upholding the with holding order. Trust me the Employer does not want to go that direction. You can contact our law offices at 925-225-1025.
