Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am wondering my legal rights to keep an abusive father away from me and my unborn child, he denies child is his yet threatens to take child away. He is unemployed, has a drinking problem, and is violent when drunk. I've never filed a reported him but I have eye witnesses.
