Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Which form I should submit to the small claims court after the defendant pays me my judgment?

Within how long I should do so?

Does a copy have to be served on the defendant or, I can mail him a copy?

Thank you so much for clarification.

You may use form EJ-100 - Acknowledgement of Satisfaction of Judgment. You should file and serve it as soon as possible, as the Code of Civil Procedure requires that you do so "immediately." You can review the procedures at Code of Civil Procedure Section 724.010 and the following sections.

You may serve the defendant by personal service or by mail.
