Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

What type of lawyer would handle a suit against a former parental coordinator for gross negligence, malpractice, and breach of contract?

We have primary custody in California. The parent coordinator was appointed in Nevada (where the governing family court is). The parental coordinator was brought before the court for an evidentiary hearing, put on the stand, and subsequently dismissed from the court prior to the testimony concluding (subsequently her appointment was stripped). There is deposition transcripts, trial transcripts, to back up the case, and more.

Our family law attorney feels we have a good case for gross negligence, malpractice, and breach. However, he doesn't specialize in these areas.

It would depend on the background of the parental coordinator. They come from a number of fields, including law, psychology, and social work. You would probably want someone who handles malpractice cases against people in the profession your parental coordinator came from. In any case, however, you will need a Nevada lawyer.
