Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I am a illegal immagrant and im under age and me and a group of friends took 67$ of clothes at jc penny we got caught by store security not a cop and we have to go to court for petty theft my friends are going to plead guilty they have a video, they said if we plead guilty we would have to pay a fine and do community service to take it off our record is it different from me ? will or can i get deported?

is there something I can do so i wont get deported im in highschool and a straight a student never before been in trouble by the law before and first time offender

I think the best way is to have an attorney to represent you. This way without you going to the court, the attorney can assess the situation. If you plead guilty there would be a possibility that you will trigger the immigration proceedings.Although petty theft is not a removable offense, but at this stage that you are illegal, you should not take that chance.
