Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I lost previous I797. the same is asked as evidence by USCIS while processing my EAD on L2 visa. Can i send the I94 and Visa stamping pages of L1B Visa (previous one) istead of I797? need a quick resolution...

If your U.S. visa was for the same validity period as the Approval Notice, then probably, yes. Otherwise, you would have to file for a duplicate approval notice, which will take some time (& a filing fee).

You should explain this in your Response to USCIS, however, they might still require the Approval Notice to adjudicate the petition

.It just depends on your evidence, how well you can explain the situation & the Officer reviewing the case.
