Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Soliciting a prostitute is a crime of turpitude. If convicted of such, what are my real chances of ever becoming a US Citizen or even renewing my green card? And if any chances what are the roads or options?

Conviction of such crime is a ground for deportation and you might not be qualified for citizenship application due to lack of good moral character. You might consult with an immigration attorney to coordinate with a criminal attorney to have the crime vacated.

Prostitution charges make one inadmissible for 10 years, but with time, the problem can disappear. Analogously, soliciting prostitution and the effect on citizenship can be minimized. The effect on renewing the green card could be problematic. It's all in the timing and ameliorative remedies that might be available.
