Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in California

Sexual Harassment quid pro quo

I'm a Business major in college. I have no interest in law whatsoever. But, my major requires one ''Business Law and Ethics Course''. Anyways, my ''...hole'' Business Law professor decides to make us all play attorney for our final exam grade (25% of our letter grade for the semester). I was given an assignment to do a 10 minute presentation in front of the class. I have to play ''defense attorney'' against a sexual harassment quid pro quo case. I get graded by how well of a defense strategy I can come up with. There's only one proble : the defendant is guilty as sin ! It's an open/close case. The plaintiff was fired for refusing to date a high-ranking company employee.

Look at the evidence. Was it her word against his? Or is there credible evidence?

Re: Sexual Harassment quid pro quo

Google [sexual harassment defenses]. And if you have a mental block against this assignment because it relates to "law," pretend you are in debate class.
