Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I am employed at will but my consulting contract states "The Company may terminate this Agreement upon giving Consultant fourteen (14) days prior written notice of such termination pursuant to Section 14.G of this Agreement. The Company may terminate this Agreement immediately and without prior notice if Consultant refuses to or is unable to perform the Services or is in breach of any material provision of this Agreement." Is my employer able to fire me without prior notice for no cause?

Only if they are willing to pay you for 14 extra days.

The paragraph you quoted suggests that yes, your employer may terminate you without cause -- but with 14 days' written notice.
