Legal Question
I received a CA WARN notice of a "mass layoff" on 7/18/09. My doctor put me on disability effective 8/20/09 through 12/31/09 to treat cancer. My manager contacted me on 9/4/09 & told me my layoff was effective upon my return from disability. Now I have received a Notification of Employment Termination effective 9/18/09, is this legal?
