Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was terminated as an at will employee in carson, ca, I asked the reason why i was fired employer said that are not obligated to give me a reason. I got off the phone with EDD a few minutes ago and they lady i was talking to kept asking me if my employer gave me the reason I was terminated was a post on Facebook.com. I kept on replying no she asked about a post i posted after i was terminated admitted to it but she asked if my employer gave me that reason when i was terminated. I said "no". Question: Does it sound that my employer falsified the reason i was terminated?

The employer does not owe you any reason. If, however, you can show that they fired you because of something that was posted to FB, this MAY be grounds for a wrongful termination. But the facts really matter in such cases.

I suggest that you consult with an employment lawyer in private and discuss your options in more detail. You can start by calling around to several for a free phone consultation, get some insights then pick the best fit to work with.
