Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Union attorney

I am a professor, and was not given tenure, so was dismissed from my position. The Union Attorney is doing a very poor job representing me. Can I hire my own attorney?

Re: Union attorney

Yes, but he is required to follow all the same rules and procedures, and you are limited to all the same remedies, as with the union provided attorney. If you're serious about doing so, for your piece of mind, feel free to contact me.
