Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I have been given a 90 day notice from the manger here at the apartments I live at now my question is do I still have to pay rent for the 90 days?some people are saying no please help

Only if you don't want to be given a 3-day notice to pay rent or move out immediately, and then have an unlawful detainer trial roughly 30 days after that. Anyone who tells you you don't owe rent for whatever time you live in a property is an idiot. The only way you can get out of paying less than the 90 days rent is to give your own 30-day notice at any time that it will be up earlier than the 90 days, and move out by then.
