Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I am trying to get my adult daughter out of my residence. I am a renter myself and she refuses to contribute NOTHING. The time is getting close for getting her out because I am going to serve her with a 3 Day or Quit. I need to know the at what point can I change the locks because she has stolen from me and I do not trust her. Also, how long does she have to move her stuff out including her stuff from the garage that she expects me to store for her? I have asked her several times to take her things out of the garage. I want to change all the locks but I know she will delay getting all her stuff as long as possible.

What is the OR for in your notice? If you have allowed her to live there with your permission, the court may consider her a tenant at will, which will require a 30 day notice to just quit. Don't phrase the notice in the alternative with an OR, because that gives the tenant an option and makes your notice vague.
