getting back rent paid
i have been paying rent on a house that i have not been able to live in...i have not signed any contract...the house needs to be leveled...the landlord keeps saying she will...hasn't done it yet...can i get my money back?

Your recourse would be through the small claims court. Since you can't live there, you've been constructively evicted.
