I need to extend a Court Date for a Civil case in California , How can I do that and is it possible to do on line?

You have to ask for a continuance from the judge. You may be able to get a stipulation from your opponent to agree to it, but it usually requires a motion and is subject to the court's approval. It is not something you do "online."
