Legal Question

I have friends who rent. They were just given 2 weeks notice to move out due to the sale of the rental home. Is the time frame correct? I thought here in CA it was 30 days!

That notice is improper. It could be as much as 60 days if they've been at that location for more than 1 year....

Depends on the circumstances. If it is month to month then 30 days if they have lived there less than a year, or 60 day...
