Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I gave my boyfriends friend 800 dollars so we rent a room from her we was there 3 days and her land lord changed the locks on the doors and boarded up the windows she told me she was the manager of the house she did give my boyfriend a rent recipe and she ask for it back to make copies and she never made any copies or give him or me the rent recipe back .so now's she at a motel and I'm homeless sleeping on the sidewalk

Sounds like your friend took advantage of you. Ask her for your money back. If she refuses, take her to small claims court.
