Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
My landlord wanted to evict me because I didn't have rent money but I managed to come up with $600 out if $925 which he accepted. The very next day I got served with eviction papers. Is that legal?

Probably, you owe the entire amount... By paying you limited your damages. The first thing was the three day notice... You still have three days to bring it current...
