Have a house in Running Springs, CA, live in Los Angeles, Got the tenant out but she took things that weren't her's and caused extensive damage. Do I have to file in San Bern or can I file in LA?

The best to file is where the tenant currently resides. The second choice is where the rental property is located because that is where the damage occurred.
