Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I live in California. There are currently tenants in the house i am in escrow to buy. They were given 60 days notice by he bank to evacuate by April 19th. They have decided they are going to wait at least 3 weeks till they can find a new place to rent. This would leave me homeless at the end of the month. Is there any action that can be taken to get them out on the normal date. If I close on the house while they occupy is there any action i can take to evict them then. I do no believe they are currently paying rent due to the notice to evict.

Although it will cause you a hardship because of a delay, you might amend the escrow instructions to state that the property must be delivered vacant by close if escrow. Otherwise you inherit the headache of evicting the occupants. If the current owner wants the sale to go through, it will find a way to have them move, perhaps by offering a monetary incentive.
