Legal Question

manager slander tenant to son

manager of complex on mothers day approached son and ask personal questions of the tenant , inform son of previous problem tenant had with another tenant

Is this slander of defamation action

should a manger of a complex gossip to a family member about the tenant or gossip to anyone personal information about the tenant
